In this class you will learn how to become more mindful through the practice of gentle yoga. The fundamental aspects of any style of yoga are movement,  breath, and focussed awareness. When we practice each of these aspects in a mindful manner, we establish a sense of awareness, connection, and acceptance of present moment experience that will help us maintain peace of mind in the face of stressful circumstances or situations. The practice will consist of an exploration of gentle poses and various types of breathing and meditation techniques that are accessible to all.  This class is about learning a perspective that  can be applied to any type of  yoga to empower you to get the most from your practice
