Here are some Frequently Asked Questions:
What do I need to bring to class?
-You should wear comfortable clothes that you can stretch and move in. You may also wish to bring a water bottle. Mats and props are provided, but some people like bringing their own mats.
How do I pay?
-Payment is accepted by all the instructors, at the beginning of class. Drop in fees are $15.00 per class, and a 10 Class Flex Pass is $110.00. A one month unlimited yoga pass is $90.00. Cash, cheque, or email transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org are accepted.
Do I need to preregister for class?
-There is no need to preregister for classes on our regular class schedule. If you would like to attend one of our special workshops at Get Yoga, we do ask that you preregister to reserve a spot.
What is a flex pass?
-A flex pass is a card that is kept in the studio. It allows you to take 10 classes of your choice, at any time. Each time you come to a class, a box is marked off on your pass. Flex passes do not expire, and families and couples can share a flex pass. They are $110.00.
What are the studio hours?
-The studio is open 15 minutes before and after each scheduled class.
What kind of class should I choose?
-People often like to try a variety of types of classes and instructors to find a type of yoga that resonates best with them. We offer everything from very gentle Restorative Yoga to vigorous Hatha and Vinyasa Flow classes. For a full list of classes and descriptions visit our Classes Page . I have never taken yoga before. Am I flexible enough?
-Not to worry! In yoga we start from where we are and work within our own personal boundaries.
What is a typical yoga class like?
-Our yoga classes begin with a few minutes of centering in, where we breathe, relax, and leave the day up until now behind us. Next we will begin to slowly warm up the body with some gentle movement. The middle of the class will take you through a sequence of movements, stretches, and poses. Each class ends with a savasana, or final relaxation.
Where are you located?
-45 Front Street, Trenton, Ontario. The studio is on the third floor, above The Grind coffee shop. Our entrance is on Front Street next to The Grind’s front door. There is a large municipal parking lot next to the building.
