Beginner’s Progressive: Build Your Practice with Leslie
This 4 week session is designed for beginning yoga students who are interested in growing their practice in a progressive way from week to week, and finding a yoga practice to call their own.
This relaxed and easygoing class will draw from the 8 arms of yoga to introduce you to:
-Yoga principles that encourage positive thinking and actions both on and off the mat
-Postures found in a variety of types of classes, and functional alignment work so you can get the most out of your practice
-Pranayama (breathing) techniques that help keep us strong and calm
-Practices that calm and focus the mind, and help us relax
-Samples of different types of yoga found at the studio, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative
-Time for questions, discussion, and individual practice and assistance based on your needs.
